The average live cycle of a marine elevator is about 20-25 years. An older elevator will probably still run well, but the owning and operating cost has reached such a level, that modernization is becoming more feasible (especially on cruise vessels, ferries and super yachts).

• trailing cable
• car door
• ropes
• traction sheeve
• car interior
